Well what can I say. We stayed in Willow Lodge it was beautiful and so peaceful. Would definitely go back. My husband even went fishing in the lake we overlooked.
As someone who has stayed at quite a few lodges like these around the country, I can honestly say this is the best to date. Everything about the accomodation was perfect, we requested details of the bed and bedding (I believe quite a few people do) as we have never slept so well. The accomodation was immaculately clean and the owners were there when needed. The location was extremely scenic, with lots of places close by when needed, but far enough to make the resort so peaceful. We are already planning a return visit, although feel it will be future VISITS, and become our regular haunt!
Just spent four nights in Kingfisher lodge, worth every penny. It’s a lovely quiet spot and super private, it’s one of the best accommodations we have stayed in, it was clean and everything was easy to use. Any questions I had, I just had to text and got a response quickly from Sally. It’s got superior views from the windows and even woke up to a deer outside which was magical! We got really lucky with the weather so it was nice to relax in the hot tub with the sun shining. Would definitely love to come back! An absolute 10/10 for a lodge. Would recommend to those looking for a tranquil break away from life/work.
First time we stayed in maple Lodge it was absolutely stunning caught some nice carp the last 3 years we stayed in larch Lodge the Lodge is amazing but this time the fishing was not great did not see a carp just little fish there 4 nights and absolutely nothing I don't think any other people saying there caught anything at all the lake use to be good so don't now want as changed the
Fantastic place, hot tub, sauna, wildlife of every verity, very just so relaxing all situated around a lovely lake. Accommodation was excellent everything you needed was here would recommend thank you for a wonderful week.
Just had a fantastic week here,stayed in Willow Lodge,lovely place..very nice location, quiet and peaceful,we went to quite a few places in Norfolk and Suffolk whilst here..would highly recommend anyone looking to book a getaway to give this place a look.
High standard of lodge, beautiful mature grounds, lovely owners. Simply one of the best places we have stayed in the uk, would recommend Weybread lodges to anyone who wants a quiet location, and a restful break. Pictures say it better than words.
We stayed in the Willow Lodge, it is quiet and secluded. The venue is definitely high end with its own sauna and hot tub. The hot tub has fencing around it so it is very private and you can hardly see the other lodges. There is everything you need here, washing machine, dish washer. The only small issue is location - there is no where within walking distance to go and have a coffee or something small to eat. However, that is a small price to pay for what else is on offer. We traveled by motorcycle and the parking is good, the ground is firm and the bikes can be turned easily but found it easier with a little assistance as the gravel made it a little awkward. Having said that both our bikes are very heavy. Each lodge has its own little jetty(?) for your own fishing spot if that is your thing.
